Q Who decides my salary on a temporary assignment?
A. The dental office determines the salary on all temporary assignments. We at Dental Power do advise
our clients in regards to salary ranges, but it is ultimately the dental office that makes the decision.
You will know what the salary is when we discuss the assignment with you. You always have the
option to accept or decline the assignment.

Q How do I get paid for a temporary assignment?
A. Over 80% of our clients pay at the end of the day or at the end of the assignment. Some offices only
cut checks on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We will notify you ahead of time if the pay will be delayed.
You always have the option to accept or decline the assignment.

Q Who pays me for a temporary assignment?
A. Over 98% of our clients pay our temporaries directly. Dental Power does pay on the remaining offices;
we pay one week delayed.

Q Do taxes get deducted from my paycheck for a temporary assignment?
A. It is up to each dental office to deduct or not deduct taxes from your paycheck. If you are paid by
Dental Power, taxes will be deducted.

Q Will I receive a W-4 or I-9 at the end of year to file my taxes?
A. You will receive a W-4 for tax filing purposes if an office deducted taxes. If an office did not deduct
taxes, you may receive an I-9.

Q Do I need Florida Certifications to work in a Dental Office?
A. It has been our experience that it is not absolutely required to have Florida certifications (i.e. xray,
expanded functions, CDA) to work in a dental office. Your skill is what is most important to our clients.
Should you be hired permanently, your employer may require that you obtain those certifications at
some point in your employment.

Q Is there a fee to register with Dental Power?
A. There is no fee to register with Dental Power.

Q Can I work temporary assignments while Dental Power is searching for a permanent position for me?
A. Absolutely!

Q How long will it take to find a permanent position?
A. The length of time to find a permanent position varies. There are a few variables to consider: location,
hours, pay and benefits.

Q Do I have to come in a for an interview with Dental Power if I have previously registered?
A. It is not always necessary to come back in to talk with us. Usually, a candidate can update by phone
or by mail. If it has been an extremely long time, we may need to re-interview as some important
areas may have changed such as location, skill sets, needs, etc.

Q Can I look for a job on my own while Dental Power is searching also?
A. Yes, of course. We just ask that you inform us who you are interviewing with on your own so that we
are not trying to set up interviews with the same employers.

Q Is registering with Dental Power confidential?
A. Absolutely!

Q. What are the advantages of working with a Career Search Consultant?
A. Legal practices have unique employment requirements. Generalist staffing agencies are not prepared to understand and fill these unique needs. As a specialist focused exclusively on legal staffing, Argus Legal placement service possesses the expertise to quickly fill even your most specialized staffing requests. Using a career consultant can provide a cost effective and time saving method for finding the most qualified and appropriate candidates for your search. Argus Legal consistently recruits candidates who have exceptional credentials and experience.

These candidates are in excellent standing with their current employers and are too busy to read or respond to classified advertisements. Instead, they rely on us to present attractive job opportunities to them.

We promote your position and provide our candidates detailed information about your opportunity. Our career consultants screen every candidate before submitting them to you. We strive to find candidates who have both the precise experience you require and personality to be a good fit with your firm or company.

Q. What will Dental Power do to assist me with my job search?
A. Our career consultants will meet with you to discuss current job opportunities. We will provide you with detailed information about each specific position and the company or law firm, including the compensation, hours, responsibilities and culture.

We will give you suggestions on your resume and prepare you for your interviews. We promote you to our clients and assist you in getting the answers to what may be difficult

Q. Why should I choose to work with Dental Power/Argus Dental to find a legal job for me?
A. There are several reasons why dental practices come to us with their professionaldental staffing requests. Their time is valuable, and they know the fee they pay to us is earned through our effective, efficient work on their behalf. Because this fee is earned only when we meet their needs exactly, we are highly motivated to make the perfect match. Clients trust Dental Power Search Consultants to present to them only precisely matched candidates. This matching system also means an ArgusDentall-presented resume receives first consideration because clients know it already has been screened by skilled professionals.

Using Argus Dental search also means your confidentiality is protected at all times because ArgusDental clients know protection is a required element of the search process. Remember, too, a blind box ad could even be your own employer or someone who knows you and has no obligation to preserve your confidentiality. When you speak with an Argus Dental recruiter, you also can discuss specific details of the position that cannot be included in any advertisement. This information will help you decide if a position actually meets your career objectives.

We have developed numerous personal and professional relationships with the hiring dental offices. We are often the first to learn of available positions as many of our clients prefer not to advertise.
